Welcome to the official website of the North East Sports Quiz League.
The League was formed in 1974, and is the longest continous running Sports Quiz League competition in Britain - perhaps even the World! If you know different - please let us know. We'd particularly like to hear from any other Sports Quiz Leagues out there.
There are 19 member teams in the League from all over the North East of England region: Northumberland, Tyneside, County Durham. There are League and Cup competitions which take place throughout the season, which runs from September to June. Matches are played on Thursday nights.
