Welcome to the official website of the North East Sports Quiz League.
The League was formed in 1974, and is the longest continuous running Sports Quiz League competition in Britain - perhaps even the World! Even the pandemic couldn't stop the league, as we returned to sports quiz action on Thursday 21st October 2021. Results are now on the Divisional pages.
There are 9 member teams in the League from all over the North East of England region: Northumberland, Tyneside, County Durham. There are League and Cup competitions which take place throughout the season, which runs from September to June. Matches are played on Thursday nights.
